FAQ'S

Do you have a safeguarding policy in place for children and vulnerable adults?

Every person has a value and dignity which comes directly from the creation of male and female in God’s own image and likeness. Christians see this potential as fulfilled by God’s re-creation of us in Christ. This implies a duty to value all people as bearing the image of God and therefore to protect them from harm.

In line with Church of Scotland guidance we have a comprehensive safeguarding policy in place which you can access here.

Can I bring very young children to a ABK service?

Of course! We welcome families with children of all ages and offer a range of activities through Kids ministries to keep children of all ages safe, entertained and engaged. At Bervie, we run Kingdom Kidz during term time on Sunday mornings.

Are children and adults with learning difficulties/special needs welcome at ABK?

Here at SAINT, we are committed to providing a caring and safe space where everyone can experience the love of God. Children and adults with disabilities and their carers are warmly welcome at any of our locations. At Bervie, those who work with children have lots of experience with caring for children with SEND.

Are all your locations accessible?

Unfortunately, only Bervie is fully accessible. Arbuthnott Church is reached via a short gravel path from the carpark. Gourdon Mission has a number of steps leading to it (as it's perched on a hillside). If you have a specific access query don’t hesitate to get in touch with us at arbuthnott.bervie.kinneff@gmail.com

How do I get to a ABK Church location?

All travel and parking is available on our individual location pages.

I want to serve at SAINT, what do I do?

If you would like to serve on any of our volunteer teams, then contact our Minister, Andrew here

How do I give to the work of SAINT?

All we do would not be possible without the generous support of our congregation. If you would like to give to the work of our church please click here for more information.

How do I go about exploring the Christian faith?

As a church we run regular courses to help people discover the Christian faith. From 14th January 2026, we are beginning our next 321 Course. Sign up here.
