Minister - Rev. Andrew Morrison
Andrew was ordained on 7 March 2019 into the parish of ABK Church. Andrew's training took him to various churches across Scotland - in Kilmarnock, Inverness, Airdrie and Irvine. Andrew grew up in East Kilbride, where he discovered the good news about Jesus as a teenager.
He first felt a calling towards ministry in June 2008. And later studied for Ministry in Dingwall at the Highland Theological College, where he met his wife, Kirsty, who is originally from Wokingham, England. They were married in 2017, and have since coming to Bervie been joined by their Labradoodle, Bonnie, and their two young boys, Asher and Caleb.
Prior to entering the Ministry, Andrew studied Geography at Glasgow University, and has worked in various roles such as being a gardener or dealing with customer complaints in a call centre (not at the same time!)
He's a huge fan of the great outdoors, often walking their dog, Bonnie. He loves nothing better than exploring the Aberdeenshire countryside or making his boys laugh.
Andrew's desire is to see ABK Church grow into a family where all experience the love of Jesus for themselves. He says, "We love living and working in this part of Scotland. It's such a privilege to be part of the ABK Church family, helping people take steps closer to Jesus, and grow in faith. I'm excited for all that God's still continuing to do in the lives of people in our community, and all that we might see God doing in our midst in the future."
